Or you can do a LSX-454 with a ls7 manifold and have more then 500 rwhp.

Nitrous...More bang for the buck. Or...Mast makes a very aggressive cam for the LS3/L99. I think they put out 545 to the crank. With the rest of your mods 500WRHP should be no problem.

I would say a good set of free flowing heads and a larger intake. They should work hand in hand with that cam you have. And don't forget, a re-tune.
GOOD LUCK! |

just put a small 50-100 hp shot of nitrous in it and not only will it have over 500 hp it will really gain in the torque as well and you wont have to deal with a huge loppy cam. Also best bang for the buck!

Is your car an auto? Those numbers seem a bit low for an LS3 with those mods.

Carbon Fiber driveshaft if anyone has made one and smaller lighter wheels will help a little getting more actual power to the ground.

Off the car lot to the Dyno I made 355 CAI and Tune I went to 376 Headers and Cam it jumped to 443 I did swap out stock mufflers with Flow Masters but that is no gain in my book. In fact it may be a loss! Bryan Last edited by Pope Designs; 10-13-2009 at 08:27 PM. |

First of all drive your already man geez, 300 miles i had that the first day. Second its gonna be tricky to get to 500rwhp I know you got your cam at RPM like me. I got a cam, ported heads, fast intake manifold, nick williams throttle body, underdrive pulleys, CAi, and a tune and my car has 3000 miles right now and I made 480 rwhp and 440tq. My longtubes are catted i could probably pick up a few there but don't want to hassle with inspection. I think your cam is a little bigger than mine so with the above mentioned mods you might crack 500. What's the point if your not gonna drive it and enjoy it.

My Camaro is pretty much my toy or hobby not a daily driver.
I am actually starting to have my doubts on the Fast intake manifold & Nick Williams throttle body. Too much crap has to be done; move the belt tensioner, wiring harness, injector adapters etc... too much money for not so much of a gain I am thinking... I have not ruled it out totally though... I am thinking ported heads or new heads next. Bryan |
