I took it out today and deffinatly noticed a difference although not astounding! Better pull in all gears. Acceleration was a little better but I didn't try any 0-60 runs, the weather was crappy with rain and wet roads so the traction control kept kicking in. I would say any power gains are equal to when I added the CAI or the cat backs. Sound was no louder I don't think, although the decel popping seemed to be a little less pervelent, maybe just my imagination, I don't know, it's hard to improve on the sound of the Mach-X cat backs! Overall definatly worth every penny! The butt dyno registered a few more marks IMO! I did notice my son-in-law jerking forward and back in his seat quite a bit more during my shifting due to what seemed to be more torque as I hit the gas! That's a good sign!

Well at least it looks like the wires clear nicely so you don't have to worry about them melting.

I would go to Checker Auto and get some silver foil heat tape, the same as you see on alot of wiring under the hood of our Camaros. And wrap the AC hose and battery cable
on the drivers side of the engine. Also I noticed some wiring on the passenger side that were awful close to your headers in the pics. Eventually the heat will cook and harden
the insulation on those wires. A little preventative maintenance now will save you alot of headaches in the future. I bought some of this tape and did alot of wires around my
engine compartment that were neglected by GM.

Kirk, you put a Procharger on your Camaro and now you want to cheap out and go with shorty headers?????

Spend the $$ and throw on some ARH's and 3" exhaust.
Let that supercharger breath!!!

I'm in Colorado right now, went for a 320 mile drive today, in the garage now
preparing for a big snow storm that's supposed to hit the Denver area
tomorrow.
I'm heading to SEMA on Nov. 2 with the Camaro, plan on doing some
racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Nov 3, for Test and Tune night
while I'm there. Want to see what I can do at 1900 ft instead of 7000 ft
here in Denver at Bandimere.
You going to SEMA?

Hey guys,
Need some knowledgeable thoughts.I'm waiting for delivery of a 1ss and i intend to add some mods before shipping it to the U.K.
Does a Varraram Air intake,Doug Thorley Shorties,Noweeds Ex Diverter and a Solo Quantum Axle Back sound like a decent combination to any of you.Or are any elements non compatible or a waste of cash.
Thanks in advance

They would all work well together.... And you would certainly have an increase in performance. I am sure you would be happy with the sound and the perfromance.

I thought you wanted the items shipped to the U.k. so you can ignore that in my PM...haha it is the weekend, so bear with me!!
