Still up in the air on what % I will go with my Suburban, Silverado, and Malibu have 15% ontop of the factory tint, my 2000 and 2001 Z/28 have 5%.

I will be getting them done this week.

mine on the truck's either 20% or 15% on the sides & 5% on the back and a 15% sun strip

it's awesome during the day - especially when it's hot out, but it ain't no fun backing up at all when it's dark i have to roll the window down & open the rear slider to see anything

I have 20% rear glass, rear 1/4's and 35% doors. No issues. In fact, I would have went with 20% on doors, but it was a cloudy day and it appeared darker.

The darker the enviroment you are driving in at night, the harder its gets to drive with tints. It depends a lot on where you drive and how much of it is at night.

If you drive in a rural area at night, the 20% tints are awful, and 35% is difficult, especially when backing and trying to find intersections. Brightly lit towns and cities seem much better to me, due to all the ambient lightling.

I had to strip a Firehawk I bought that had limo tint on it. It was like driving while looking through a periscope. Where I live, I could not see my own driveway at night!

i looked up my state tinting laws, and it says for all windows(excluding the windshield) that it's 35%...does this mean the darkest i can get is 35%??

Uhm I had 5% all around with 15% on the front windshield and I got it removed because I it sucked at night (I've had it on my other cars but the side ones sucked on the Camaro for some reason. I never had a problem seeing through the windshield though. I had the same thing on my previous car and I could pretty deal with it but with the blind spots on the Camaro it's hard so I got it all removed.

I'm 99% sure it's illegal in any state. I've never even seen a car with a windshield tinted. Above was the first person I've heard tinting the windshield. Except you can do something like a 6" wide strip along the top in some states.

I have my windshield tinted to A/S1 line to help when driving, the visors do very little to block the sun.
