Not even sure what those power but besides the trunk not opening everything is functional.

Went to the dealer to order a new wiring harness since theres not even enough slack to repair it and too many wires cut. $831 for this harness unless its the wrong one. Was hoping it was a short one...

Cut and splice the wires, reconnect them, then try the trunk. At this point, you know something that needs to be addressed and could possibly be the problem. Fix it, then go on from there. Hopefully your battery is under the hood and not the trunk like my '15 RS.

Cutting and splicing will allow for some more slack so that the wires aren't getting pinched by the trunk lid again also.

Well I spliced and repaires the 2 one broken wire that goes to the trunk actuator and no luck. Even tested it with a working actuator and still nothing. Checked the fuse by the steering wheel its good.

Am I missing something?

Not to be a smartass, but obviously.

Go through and check grounds, wires, where power ends?

The fuse and relay are in the trunk fuse area.

That pic is misleading, its actually by the steering wheel.

I was about to go to the dealer for this and somehoe the trunk started working again on its own. I think it may be a programing issue.

The wire most likely grounded out and popped a fuse when it was exposed, after splicing you should check fuses, there is a small fusebox in the trunk on coupes, not sure about convertibles.

mines got stuck shut before all i did was go to the back of my car and pull the trunk door up and pressed the button on the keyfob and up it went. the heat of the hot sun on the black paint has caused the plastic around the trunk latch to warp on occasion -__-

alltho looking at the pick you posted dear sweet mother of god looks like a rat or other small chewing critter has gotten in the car possibly. id look around for droppings or a sign of anything rubbing the harness.
