Hmm....right now I think I'm going to do the #14386 x-pipe, remove the resanators, and the muffler delete. I think that will basically be the same as the Magnaflow Comp Series cat-back. Looks like I should be able get it done turn key for $250 or less.

This will just be a temp fix for me until I get the money together for a complete header back system and tune. Right now the TSP setup is looking mighty good for what you get and the price that goes with it.

The only other option I'm slightly considering is going with the Magnaflow 1486 x-pipe and SLP LMII axle-back. Then eventually go with the SLP header back to axle-back system with the 1 3/4" headers. Price will be the only thing holding me back on the LMII.

Decisions.....Decisions....Decisions!

So, the H-pipe was replaced with the magnaflow X-pipe. The resonators were left in tact. The mufflers were removed and a piece of pipe was added. My factory tips were welded to the new pipe. I may go back later and switch to some rectangular shaped tips.

Has a nice sound. Might try to find a way to turn it down a notch, but its definitely closer to the sound that I want than the factory sound was. The x-pipe helps make the popping more of a deep sounding pop. Definitely worth the $150.

I kept my mufflers just in case I decide to go back.
We have a few small muffler/resonator options that would help quite it down a bit. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get you some pricing. Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions.

Let me know when you're ready! We've got some awesome deals going on the Magnaflow axle-backs as well and they are much higher quality than the SLP. I'm pretty sure we'll be competitive price wise.

Kind regards,
