Almost 5K miles, and not a single issue 1 track day down and 1 more coming in May!

Ok, 1 issue, but not OEM - after-market exhaust free cutouts! Anyway...glad she's all back to normal!

I better just keep my car in the garage because I smashed quite a few mailboxes back in the 80's too.

+1...mechanical and metal failures happen periodically. sorry that it happened to you; but, there will be a random number of failures in any part - no matter if it is a first production year or last production year of a car. things happen, you adjust and move along. there are significantly worse things that could happen to you or your baby.

if the roads are that bad, start showing up at government meetings and raise hell there. maintenance of a transportation network is one of the few things that government is actually responsible for.

Just an FYI, when my '96 Z28 was new and had about 1500 miles I was getting a loud whine from the differential. The dealer put in a whole new rear end. So, sometimes things do go wrong with new cars.

I think when they told me that production stopped it was was the rear end production line. It just delayed it for 4-5 days. I'm still waiting for a receipt or work order so I can see what all they replaced. What ever it was it couldnt have been cheap.

Cant wait for May to get here. It was Carb Day 09' at Indy when we first saw the Camaro. My wife said right then, WE NEED THAT CAR. Who was I to argue. Low and behold its the 2010 pace car for the Indy 500

Ah, so I found you guys! I've been on the receiving end of smashed mailboxes twice! Why, I'd like to ...

Oh wait, thread jacking not allowed...

Glad to hear your Camaro is back on the road!
