I think I have the spoiler nuts rattling problem with my car. I have heard it rattling back there when I back out of my driveway sometimes so I bet I need to get it fixed. I'm taking my car to the dealer on Monday so hopefully they can check it out and get it fixed and I have a leaking problem when it rains my floor area behind the drivers seat gets water for some reason. Not sure if is the windows or somewhere else but im going to get it checked out though.

I have a pretty early vin number thats probably why I have the spoiler problem. I have heard it rattling before and figured it was the spoiler just never had it checked out. It sounds like something is loose sliding around inside the spoiler area at times. I have had my car since July 17th 09.

Might be the trunk monkey playing a joke on you. You did get the trunk monkey option, right?

I have this to. I am thinking it is the exhaust. Going to be taking it to have it checked out soon.

Everything on my car is still stock. Dealer just called me and stated they had to call GM for this. They said that GM have a group of speciallist just for the Camaro. They are waiting for a call back. Looks like it won't be fixed today.

They gave me the car back last night, waiting on GM's Camaro Specialist to call them back about this issue. They checked the exhaust, spoiler nuts. The dealer can not seem to find anything that would cause a "CHAIN LIKE RATTLE" under the car. They took another 2SS out and it did not have the rattle. So, something is not right.

No word from the Dealer yesterday or even today so far. I am really bummed that my 2010 Camaro w/ only 1250 miles sounds like it's going to come apart every time I hit a bump. Does it really take GM Camaro Specialist that long to get back to the dealer tech guys? I don’t know if I want to continue to drive it.

Put the backseat down, and have someone (or yourself with someone driving) in the back with your head in the trunk. You may not find the problem, but you'll certainly narrow down where the sound is coming from (which side, distance back, how low, truer sound).

Good luck! Hopefully it isn't a trend!

Brand new 2SS and same problem. What is the rear spoiler nut problem and can't you fix it without going into the dealership ()

It's not the spoiler nuts on my car, it's been triple checked. It's lower sounding.

When I take her back in for the new break fluid cap, I will talk to the tech guy and ask him about the sways.

OK, dealer just called me. Still no call back from GM Camaro Specialists. However, they started to tell me that it could be from the HEAT SHIELDS on the Camaro for the Manual Transmissions causing the sound and there is really NO fix for it at this point. They told me that the shields are thin and prone to this type of behavior. I told them about the Sways that "Sownwithopp" stated. I am going on vacation next week for 10 days, so I am going to drop off my baby then. I have other issues wrong with her that they will be taking care of when I dropper her off. They said they would look at the sway bars. I am not at all happy that this is going on with my car. I want to take another 2SS/M6 for a test drive and see if I can make it should the same way. I think it's BS that they are saying it's the heatsheilds and there is no fix for it.

CAN an Admin move this to the thread to the "Camaro Issues / Problems | Warranty Discussions | TSB and Recalls " area, this is were it belongs. Sorry, I started it in the wrong place.
