Any car with DFCO and a louder exhaust should, This is not a new phenomenon by any means. Certain exhaust systems mask the pops better then others, My magnaflow you can't hear it at all but with the straight pipes on it sounded like small arms fire.

This is exactly what I am looking for, deep rumble, with the loud bangs being smoothed out. Not saying that I want it eliminated, knowing that tuning is required for that. I probably should have gone with the borla or similar to begin with, but I wanted major volume. May just have to sacrifice some volume for a smoother decel sound.

I know some people are saying that they love it, and I thought I would love it too.....but maybe I just need to drive it some more and see if it grows on me.

thats what i did, the day i got my muffler delete done and heard it i was almost embarrased, but now that im used to it and know how to deal with it it's no big deal. although it will be gone once i get my cam and headers put in and dynoed.

i just got my magnaflow resonated x-pipe(deleted stock resonators and h-pipe) and took the mufflers off. i love the decel popping. get it to 45-50 and drop it into 2nd, the beast purrs pop pop purrs pop pop. i love it.

so this can be tuned to not pop so loud on deceleration? I have to do some data logging and sent my tune back to Jannetty for a quick adjustment......was wondering If i can have him adjust that too?

I've had drone on systems before and now with the Magnaflow Competition axle back on my SS I have the popping. I'll take the popping over drone any old day!

I actually like the pop-pop-poppity-bam-pop-bam on deceleration.
