One advantage of the 6.2 pushrod V8 is the low end torque. It will pull extremely well in the low RPM ranges.

I have a manual 2SS (LS3) and really like it.

Thats why I cancelled my order for a v6. I know I would never be happy with the sound.

I wouldn't call the ls3 a stump puller ,but it will make your 3.5 charger seem like a powerwheels toy.

The only bad thing is it's about 1000lb heavier than a vette. Come to thing of it,if you want all of those things you say then get a vette.

You are looking for a big power + low weight car...that won't be a stock Camaro SS (L99 or LS3) or a 2011 Mustang GT, or a SRT8. The Z06, ZR1, is your ticket or get one of the V8 cars I listed and supercharge it and you'll be happy. That is what I did. I know what you meant about the feeling you get on your motorcycle. Again, power to weight ratio gives you that.

V8 w/A6 is pretty friggin quick. It can even be a bit too quick in some situations. (if you tap the gas a bit too hard going off a stop it lurches like crazy)

Mine is my daily driver (35 miles) and I did give it a little thought (V6, vs V8 -regular gas vs premium grade gas, MPG, etc).

Then, I started up the V8 (manual) and that was all it took. Even with no mods at all, the V8 has a nice rumble to it. End of story. You will not be sorry. I'm not bashing the V6 it's got plenty of get up and go, it just wasn't for me. Lori
