You SHOULD pull him for sure. In the 1/8th he's going to have a better chance, but it's going to be up to your driving in that department, you should still pull. In the 1/4 it shouldn't be much of a contest, but if you've never been to the track... might want to go run a few times before you bet any money or anything. Most people's first time at the track isn't pretty.

The big deal is that he works with the guy, thus necessitating him crossing paths with the big mouth every day he goes to work. Just do like everyone has suggested, practice your launches man. I have been spanked off the line before due to a poor launch. You keep him a car length behind you to the 1/8 and he'll never catch you. I don't know if it will be a "beat down" but you shouldn't have much trouble if you launch good.

while an extra 20 HP to the wheels is possible with a CAI and tune with the mustang it is definitely NOT peak horsepower. he only gained about 9-12 peak horsepower.

please lay down some hurt on him. most mustang owners should know they can't talk crap until they get some FI......
