I have looked at many, MANY challengers and never noticed this on one of them.

Nothing more than a cheap shot by another Camaro owner still kicking himself for not buying a Challenger

Our Petty Challenger VIR Track Day has been moved to the 27th based on weather. I'll post pictures and results when we have them available.

It makes me sad when i see a Challenger that looks like the quarters were hammered out with a mallet. I just saw a black SRT8 that had the look - bummer :(

I looked at both and decided I wanted a Camaro... I don't think situations like this have to be more complicated than that. Everyone has different taste

Okay I had a chance to do this twice, a week ago our automatic 392 challenger beat a stock 1ss camaro, dont think i still have the time slips though. The camaro was a automatic also and wasnt paddle shifting challenger won 2/2.

Yesterday we beat a 2SS camaro with headers, exhaust, and a cai, maybe a tune I have the time slips we won 2/2. The camaro was a stick, definitely an all out race

Maybe there is hope if you get traction in a camaro, I think the challengers weight contributes to great track times

The challenger is left, right is the heavy modded camaro If your wondering my camaro doesnt do too well on the track...

Power between seems to be about equal since you both picked up 12mph from the 1/8-1/4

Here are a few photos from our Richard Petty activities this week.

We were frustrated by some type of electrical or electronic gremlin that prevented us from running sufficient back to back laps. That happens when you are in uncharted territory. On cold tires on the first lap we were pulling 1.33 Gs in the turns SUSTAINED. We believe we'll see over 1.4. This is a Petty Edition Challenger so it should do amazing things on track. We'll hunt down the gremlin and get her back on track soon.

2.3 60' ft? Sounds like me on my first time out. He did have a higher MPH... seems like he has a little something left in the car.
