I'm only providing personal experience.
![]() I wouldn't recommend driving your car at 100mph through any rain puddles, nor would I recommend trying to use your Camaro as a means for traversing that low-water crossing with 2-feet of water over-topping it. Also, I frequently get my car washed at one of those touchless laser wash places and they have nozzles that spray high-pressure water at the underside of the vehicle. Still no problems. Basically, Injen is legally protecting themselves from the idiots who will submerge their vehicles in enough standing water so as to completely envelop the air filter in water and then turn around and try to blame Injen for their engine getting hydrolocked.

I suppose I might have had a fleeting moment of concern about this issue if I didn't have my Blazer for "bad weather" driving and my Camaro was my only car. But even if that were the case, I doubt I would have lost sleep over it.
But in the end, get what makes you happy If there's another intake manufacturer out there that gives you better piece of mind, go for it! One of the forum members (and I think sponsor) did a detailed comparison of all of the intake systems available (at the time) and determined that (if I recall correctly) the CAI kit provided the most horsepower/torque gains for our Camaros.I'll see if I can't go find that thread... ![]() EDIT: Links for anyone that's curious... Test 1 Test 2

Yeah, it was Janetty. I found that thread....and when I asked him personally what intake he would go with after the tests.....he said Injen. LMAO! CAI inc. was his second choice...one he said might be a better option since I drive in some nasty stuff sometimes. I appreciate the feed back though, and maybe when I get another beater truck for a daily driver, I'll swap out the intakes.
P.S......what kind of blazer? Anything like one of these?

You mean I went and looked through 26 pages of Jannetty's thread to find the two links and you've already checked 'em out?!
![]() I'm still gonna post the links in my previous posts, gosh darn it!!! ![]() haha, I'm glad you're making an informed decision (and I like hearing that Jannetty likes the Injen the best ). Everyone here in SA that has any kind of aftermarket intake says they love it, so I don't think it really matters who you go with. You'll enjoy anything that isn't the stock air box ![]() My Blazer is a '95 S-10 Blazer, I'll post a pic in a minute ![]() Hmm, I don't have any more current photos of my Blazer right now, but here's my cardomain website: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/301249...evrolet-blazer

Why don't you join the group tonight at Piccolinos on Bandera & 410? It's our regular meetup spot on the 4th Friday of the month. Looks like we'll have 15-18 Camaros tonight. We'll also be discussing our upcoming car show on June 11th. No need to be a member. If you have a Camaro, come out and be part of the herd.
