I made it out to the track today, it was a nice day but was getting a little warm towards the end. God I'm not ready for summer! DA was about 2200 I think and about 70-78 degrees. It was slow going at first because someone blew their motor and decided to keep driving ALL the way to the last turn off and up the return lane leaking oil. But after that it went pretty well, towards the end I was just making one pass after another lol my transmission fluid temp was getting up there. I made 9 passes and my best two best were 12.180 @ 119.44 and 12.152 @ 118.40. Getting closer! The trap speed is really impressing me, if I get my 60ft times down this car will be putting up some fast times! The car definitely doesn't go any slower when I short shift it at 5800-6000rpm. It bucks hard when I shift it lower like that in the power band. Raced some pretty fast cars it was a blast. There was a new body style Mustang there running high 10's.

I'm car #751


And as an added bonus I reset my average mpg when I got on the higway for the 45 minute drive home, I averaged 33 mpg... gotta love it.


After I made my last pass, I loaded my 91 octane tune and filled up with 91 gas. I'm gonna drive it for a while like this and see how it does and if I get any KR. It felt good on the way home and didn't seem like much of a power loss so far.

Woke up to a nice surprise, got an email from Brian with a new tune file. Says the update should let me do a burnout. This is exiting, hopefully it does allow me to two foot it and maybe I'll be able to launch a little harder and get this 60ft down! Brian and the guys with Fabberge are great, I haven't talked to them in almost a month and he just sends me this out of nowhere. That's awesome, they must want to see an 11 second V6 running their kit and nothing else. I'm surprised more people haven't bought this. It really is the best setup for the LFX.

Of course this comes right after I put 91 octane in my car lol. Guess I need to go do some driving today.

Sure does sound like they are a great bunch of guys over there, an 11 second v6 would sure help them sell kits! I need one bad! Lol

Maybe they can send me this tune file as well? I myself am restrained by the fact that I can't do a burnout either. I have to resort to blowing the tires off my brothers 5.0 coyote instead. Hook me up!

I'm sure it wouldn't be that big of a deal for them to hook you up.

I ran into a 5.0 coyote on the highway one night, and he wanted some. He had NOTHING for me. He tried 3 times and gave up. This turbo setup makes this car is a highway beast!
