So, I guess my question is, will not having a tune damage my engine at all and if so would a hand held tuner/programmer work or would I have to go to a shop and get a tune? Basically, I am just wondering if I should save up and get headers and a tune all at once done at a shop, or put the headers on myself wait a month then drive a couple hundred miles and get a tune or use a programmer if there is no advantage?
Just because this is the help desk thread doesn't mean people are exempt from using the search function.

This has been covered NUMEROUS times and easily found with a search of this forum.
