For the Trans Am... whats your schedule like Wednesday? Looks like I am going to have to take the day off to go to Lexington to take one of the horses to the vet but I should be home early. Maybe we can work something out where you come out to look at it that day... if its a good car. I was looking for some 30th T/As for sale. The white ones with the blue wheels... none that I can find... There was only 1500 of them made! 1000 coupes and 500 convertibles! They are 1999, same as the one for sale locally. Now I see why the command such a premium.

Screwed with the garage all morning/afternoon then went fishing (I hate fishing) with the inlaws for father's day then came home and washed the car from our journeys so I am pretty beat.

I will call you after I look at the car tomorrow.

Thanks J. Off to bed here too.

Let me know when I and I will be there to help. The only thing I have this week is my city council meeting(s) on Thursday from 5:30 to God knows when. I have about 4 wife passes saved up now. I was in the red on escape time but I have put myself back into the black plus some thanks to spending some $ on dinner and clothes for her.

Also are you talking about the blue Trans Am at Honest Bill On Top the Hill's car lot near your house? Most of the cars and trucks he has are nice quality vehicles. He usually don't have anything that is junk so I would say that will be a nice car.

Me me me! I wasn't able to make it to KMart Friday - daughter had a band concert - but she is on a choir trip this weekend, so no taxi duty. AND I have to take a trip down there anyway to see Harold (guy w/Red Jewel SS)... because I am buying that MRT axle-back exhaust from him!!! I called him and was going to pick it up yesterday, but too much else going on.

Whooooo! I saw my brother for Fathers' Day - he was almost done with our dad's '69... until he started work on the hood and found it full of ripples and sander swirls. But it's still coming along and he's already driven it (hood-less)! Hopefully he'll bring it to a cruise-in soon - I'm sure you two will have lots to talk about!

So they gave me the specs and told me to go elsewhere and to let them know who I find to do it, so they can send all their cars to them... RIGHT!

Stay away from Smedley Chevrolet!!
Have you called Lang's? I went there a couple weeks ago for a balance. After replacing one back tire (due to glass chip in a bad place ), my car had a horrible wobble right at 65mph. I took it to Lang's and not Serra because Lang's is close to work and much more convenient. They were exceptionally friendly and great to deal with! Not only that, they were able to do the balance as warranty work, so I paid nothing! Surprised me, since the tire replacement was due to road hazard, which is not covered in the tire warranty. Service with lots of smiles AND a cookie LOL. If they can't do your alignment, I would fully expect them to tell you that, with no BS. Call them first! I will definitely go back there, but hopefully won't need to for a long time. Oh, and thanks for sharing the Mid-OH pics - looks like that was a good time, too!

Anyone near Dayton looking for or know someone looking for a stock exhaust? Mine is just sitting here and I think it is time to try to get rid of it.

I am interested. I destroyed mine doing the muffler delete and I want the factory stock exhaust to clutter up my garage in case I decide to put my car back to stock. PM me you info and I will find a way to come up and get it off of you.

Called them today, little closer than Wilmington, so thought I would try them out. . Plan to take it in this week. First day the weather breaks. They said they should be able to do it but I have heard that before.

I saw a Red Jewel at Bible Baptist in Wilmington Sunday. Does it belong to anyone here?

So, I should have all my brake parts next week. Showstoppers is painting the calipers and I'm going with the Hawk ceramic pads and the stainless brake lines.

This should "purdy up" my wheels a bit more.
Should make it look great. Interested to see the blue calipers on your car. Can't wait to see it all in person.

Question Worth it or not?

What do you all think about doing this? I'll buy the tool if you think those of us who have lowered our cars should do it.

http://www.eastwood.com/fender-finisher-1.html

Seems pretty straight forward.

Here is a link to why why to consider it.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90132

This was a coil over system, lowered 1" and he thinks it settled in a little more than that, riding on 22s and sounds like the guy was racing his car at the time. Any of our crew have any similar marks on their tires yet from this kind of thing? I am not too concerned but for $50 and a little time, it may be worth it.
