I was hanging out with Dragoneye the other day and he let it slip that C5 is giving away a ZL1 to the first 5 people through the gate. I'm posting this right now from the gate. Good luck to the other four people.

No, we did get it worked out, and it was amazing that it all worked out for me. Thank you for all your help!! But that changed 3 weeks later, my worked moved the date of the implementation to this weekend of Aug 4th. I will not even be in Indy at all for this event, in my own city. It is very very depressing, and I am not taking it well. The work I have done to the car over the past year, was to drive the hell out of it on the road course and dragstrip... now nothing. My project date could get moved, and that is my ONLY hope to attend. I will continue to tweak on the car, hoping things can be "delayed" at work.

I will miss catching up with all my great friends I have met at the last two events. I do feel very fortunate to have a job, and there will be many more CamaroFest in the future, I have no doubt about that!!!

That sucks. Hopefully something will change...... within 3 weeks
