TRUE ... lots of vettes sitting on dealership lots. the car is definitely losing
it's appeal despite being an affordable sports car. I guess guys with mid life crisis are now buy motorcycles

maybe its because it seems corvettes have pretty much lost all their character. When you see them on the streets, nobody goes "oh look, cool a corvette!" , its just eh. Theyre fast and excell in just about everything they were designed to do though. But so do Honda Accords....kinda reminds me of how people used to describe the NSX as a "soul-less vehicle"

toyotas are soulless. Hondas can be soulless....the Corvette is...old. At worst it's boring because its been the best at just about everything for so long...adding a ZR1 or Grand Sport model is just restating what everyone already knows.

I wouldn't call the Corvette boring. That's not the problem, it's the styling (or lack thereof), and the sub-par interior. The car is in desperate need of complete makeover, inside and out.

if you make a checklist for what a cool car should have, The Corvette pretty much has it all including the styling. But the car just has no character anymore. Bring back the original stingray!

His could be a nice car. I would really like to see Honda get back into making fun and affordable (relatively in this case) cars. THere is a rumor that we may see a XR-Z that ditches the hybrid crap in favor of a nice turbo mill. Those 2 would be a great start in resurrecting "fun Honda".

Honda will build a new car to replace the s2k before they built a new NSX... the 4cyl or v6 with 400 will be a great competitor to the Mustang, M3, Caymen, etc... id like to see them come up with a DI dohc 4.0 v8 for the next NSX and copy that to the RL and Ridgeline (although the Ridgeline is dead)..

Honda has a great opportunity to not go the way of Toyota and just made family cars.. why should Honda give their sports car territory to Hyundai and Nissan?

Just picture all the ECO badges on that thing!

It's just another of way of saying they should have just left it alone after it's glory days. Just like a thouroghbred race hourse, when the race days are over they put them out to stud.
