I actually bought mine preowned with 2250 miles from a cadillac dealer for 22,500. It was a trade in on a CTS they said and the previous owner needed a second set of doors. I got it in late 06.
Honestly...not sure about the rims, need to find out. I WANNA say 18's as I was looking at the tires the other day and thought I saw that...maybe not. I bought mine for about 23K this year with 6,000 some miles on it, previous owner was an older guy who bought it as a toy, it still smelled brand new. Did yours come with Magnaflows already on?

One thing great about a sleeper car though is that it doesn't attract too much attention. A sexy car like the new Camaro will turn a lot of heads. Some of you will need to invest in a Valentine detector if you haven't already.

If you're looking at the tire size, it should say either 245/45/R17 or 235/40/R18. I think the 18s look better but considering the price I got I can't complain too much. 23k for a 6k mile car is great. Mine still smelled new when I got it too. That's a great feeling. Mine came completely stock. How does the magnaflow sound?

I dunno about you, but the police still seem to know how fast my car is even though it doesn't look it.

well, i agree w/ the majority of everybody else that the camaro will handle better. but unfortunately, the goat still takes acceleration and probably top speed. the goat was an amazing car, b4 the camaro was announced, I was going to buy one, but now i've just been waiting. oh well, the goat will always live on in my heart

If money is a big factor then get the GTO.

IMO The Camaro looks 1,000,000,000 better then the GTO.

I would never buy a GTO. Sorry, just my opinion.

I would get a goat hands down. b4 i knew the exact details about the camaro, regardless of looks i still wanted a goat. they're a very unique car with small production #'s. $$ down the road and a blast to drive! they're quicker than a camaro (manual 2 manual) and all around awesome. plus, the interior is one of the best i've ever seen in my life on a domestic vehicle.

OK...I paid 21,850 for my 05 torrid red (with 1600 miles on it...yes hundred)...then put 7k more in the blower...
so FOR UNDER 30k I run 600hp and 11 second quarters....to hell with "handling" because at these power levels you are sideways into the wall with a 1/4 inch wrong move of the joy pedal. (I HATE walls)

I agrre with you about the looks. If i was deciding between a SS and a GTo hands down SS, but since i prolly will not be able to afford the SS my only option for a camaro would be a LT/RS so that's my dilemma here get the V6 camaro which lokks badass and has some decent power or go with the goat which has the power but the looks are not as good

I love the goats. GM hasn't built a car with that quality in years. I am begining to doubt the Camaro will have the build quality of the goat or the G8. I really hope the build quality is there. GTO had all the little touches GM needs to pull a car off. It just didn't have the looks to draw people in. Anyone who has spent even a little seat time in one absolutly loved them. Camaro has the name and the looks to draw people in, I just hope it has all the little finishing touches GTO had.

I'm between a GTO and a Camaro right now. I've wanted a V8 Camaro since I was 16 but I'm not going over 30 grand for an SS so I'm thinking I'm SOL. I just wish they'd drop the pricing info so I can do something. 27-28K for an SS base and I'm down.

The GTO has really grown on me. I like them a lot and with many w/ less than 5K going for 20-22 I'm loving the price. Much more bang for you buck.

Ed Welburn assured me....GM designs the interiors FIRST...from now on...
they realized they built cars from the outside in.... and that was wrong.
I'm certain the camAro interior will wow everyone.
