Hey we are no longer looking for Bin Laden and Obama showed us the birth certificate so I have to complain about something.

Oh and why didn't the stock market jump when we killed bin laden? It tanked when he did his nasty work.

Just gotta live with it. Otherwise - hats off to Chevy, this car, to me, is PERFECT.
My '08 Wrangler is the same way! Instead of blocking the sun on my left... it angles down, closer to the driver's side mirror!

I dunno... lol. I just dunno.

I wouldn't suggest taking them off but they sell camaro decals to go over them. I bought these
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2010-...Q5fAccessories

that stick right over top of them. I turned them around so I could read them since they are pretty useless anyways.

Yea well, it must be nice to be tall but for us "shorty's", they suck. Sunglasses, wow, why didn't I think of that

Here is a solution, 1. tint the top of the windshield, 2. Get a cd sunvisor holder from walmart for 1.98, when you put it down, it gives you an extra few inches to block the sun.

Thats what I did and it works great. And it holds your cd's too.

It's not on the front window that it bothers me, I have the tint strip and it helps with the windshield sun. It's when I put it to the side. I wish it had one of those little extenders to get it further toward the back of the car. That's what bothers me about it.

5% tint on the sides does it for me.

I'm 6'2" and the wife is 5'4" and I love the sun visors!!! Keeps her from pulling them down everytime she gets in the car!!! Never have used sun visors in the first place and I've been driving for nearly 40 years....

I don't think I've ever used sun visors, except as a passenger on long trips and I'm tired of wearing sun glasses.

But I did notice that they don't have lighted mirrors, and when I saw that, first thing I thought was, "Scott... God dammit!" --but quickly realized there was something 'different' about these sun visors...yes...they were cut especially short for the Camaro, like nothing I had seen before, so I expected there was an engineering story behind them. Or that maybe the lighting budget was spent on the ABL in the dash.

Does the car still kick ass without functional sun visors and lighted vanity mirrors? Absolutely...
