No recent sun visor thread noted...

So I have discovered that the 2011 camaro sun visor sucks just as much as the 2010 version. There have been hundreds of posts noting just how bad this visor is, has anyone found an after market upgrade? Oh and Fbodfather telling me that "we have to meet safety standards" is useless without further explanation. You see I have to drive due west towards the setting sun at dusk on a road infested with deer so I face a "safety" problem everyday commuting in this car due to the shitty sun visors so do you have further information to clarify this situation?

You must be short?
I am 6'-2" tall and when I put my visors down I can't see the road, I see hood and dash...

So to say they are shitty is obviously relative. And could be said for both of us. But the average American is shorter than I am.
I don't use mine, I don't need it.

A solution, I have not seen any anywhere, of the thousands of post's here sorry.

They are shitty but there is nothing than can be done that will help.

Make them bigger and you won't see the road.

Most of the sun is blocked anyway with the low roof.

Shades seriously are the cheapest most effective method, in any car.

Now what they could of did is made the mirror bigger, I seriously think they sourced them from makeup kits.

I think I must be the only one who likes the camaro sunvisors. They are the BEST visors I have ever had!

I am 6'4" my head sits very close to the roof. With most sunvisors I have to either angle them away from me or angle them towards me. I don't like either position. If I put them straight down, I wouldn't be able to see the road.

Not so with the Camaro visors! I can put them down, block the sun, and still see where I am going. It's amazing.

Come on all of us tall people... let's give some love to the best sun visor ever made in a car!

The only issue I have is when the sun comes through the driver side window. Since I head South in the morning and North at the end of the day, it gets me right in the corner of the eye.But I am looking at some add on extenders for that. Straight ahead is no problem...for this CA guy .

HMMM, as I first posted "Has anyone found an after market upgrade?" Its difficult to be more specifc than that. Since you were unable to read my post then respond I must assume that your reading comprehension skills are close to zero. With such poor reading skill then I could assume your IQ must be vanishingly close to zero and since the definition of an idiot is one whose IQ is less than 25 then I think it was safe for me to assume you are an idiot (by defintion). It was not meant as an insult, just a statement of clinical fact based on your demonstrated reading comprehension.

Although not the most sophisticated solution at least this guy's suggestion is somewhat novel and sort of what I had in mind. My thought is to obtain a donor camaro sun visor and another cars visor then combine them into a single more functional visor. I would then have this new construct covered in black leather and stitches to match my cars interior. This all would take a lot of work on my part and so rather than taking it all on I posted a simple question: Has anyone found an aftermarket upgrade for the 2010/11 camaro sun visor?

If your answer is no then please for the love of God POST NOTHING because your answer is useless drivel that no one cares to hear.
