rtcat600man,

Doesn't that just go over the original cap? It may still help stop leaks but i guess when i go in for an oil change ill see if i can get another cap and see if that works. Not sure if i could get it at autozone or something lol. Also need to get a cargo net and im not sure how much it costs at a dealership. I know online is like 40 or so.

I don't remember using the stock cap. I ended up wedging the new cap onto the bottle.

So that cap just goes over the nozzle and you dont have a problem with leaking or anything?

I painted the top of my bottle. I only tapped of the opening. So the paint became the thicker gasket to tighten up the cap. I kind of twisted it into place. It was a nice snug fit. Does it leak, hasn't yet, but I only filled the bottle little over half way. I rarely use the wiper fluid.

I tried to get a new cap ($10 by the way!) and it did the exact same thing as before. Ive finally gotten in touch with them and it seems like they will be sending a new washer bottle but i guess that means another $10 for a another cap as once you put it on the injen bottle it never works again.

I guess it wasnt me that was the problem. "We are aware of the issue made all the corrections to the mold. The top was .050” to tall and it would not allow the cap to catch the lip on the ring of the cap."

So does that mean if we trim the top of opening that amount, our caps will stay closed?

Kinda seems that way, as long as your cap wasnt ruined after you put it on there lol. Going to be a PIA though to take out the bottle and put the new on in though.

I've had the Injen on mine for over 20,000 with no problems - other than the washer bottle cap likes to pop up which is a non-issue.

I've driven through heavy downpours, snow, sleet, and heat. Not a single problem.
