You could bust someone's windshield, scrath their paint or cause an accident. Turn your car on for a while before you need to leave. keep it running with the defrosters and the heat cranked. after a while, the snow will simply melt away. If it's too much for that, at least you'll have a thin layer of water between your car and the snow so when you push it off by hand, it'll glide on the surface of the water and not scratch your paint.
Thanks - I was biting my tongue but felt the same way. It's bad enough with semis having snow flying off their trailer on the freeway but I can understand they can't reach the top to wipe it off -- no excuses with a Camaro.

Yeah I drive a 10' tall box truck for work, and when there's snow on top, I'm required to get a ladder and a push broom and clean that top of that beast off. took me an hour this morning for only about 2" of snow. but it's better than the alternative of putting people's lives at risk just because they happen to be driving behind me.

PSA: CLEAN ALL THE SNOW OFF YOUR DAMN CAR BEFORE YOU DRIVE IT!!!

Interestingly enough, Chrome's spelling does not see a problem with camero and highlights camaro is wrong spelling. In order to find out why, I have found this one Urban dictionary
"Improper spelling of the word Camaro, often used by people with half a brain and half an engine."
Right on!

I have a telescoping snow brush/scraper with a squeegee on the other side. Get one and use the squeegee size only.

Glad you can now spell the name of your car!

I don't envy you guys who have to deal with snow... I can't offer much in the way of suggestions as its not something I have any first hand knowledge of so I'm interested in hearing the solutions for my own personal info.

Unfortunately, there are no safe ways to remove it. Your best bet is to let the car warm up and let it melt off, but even doing that, the ice sheets caused permanent damage to my hood last year. If you have ice frozen onto the hood or roof, be extremely careful.

If you live in cold climate and have no garage, you're going to probably need paint correction after winter no matter what you do. To minimize it, DON'T use a brush. I would recommend a drying towel or something and just try to gently push the snow off. I don't know, it's tough for you guys. I'm glad I moved out of the cold weather before I got my Camaro.
