Thanks for the information.
Yes you can.

I also believe there is 2 ways of using voice commands with your cell phone. 1) Pair your cell phone to the Camaro, then store numbers through the Camaro (Holds 30 phone numbers/voice commands I believe).

Or.

If you already have voice commands on your cell phone, you can somehow use them (I dont have this, but read about it) but you might have to pair the phone everytime you get back in the car <-- not 100% sure about this process though since I dont use it.

Everyone should still have ONSTAR since you get it for a year, but I've never used it for anything.

Does the voice pass thru work with the iphone 3gs? On GM's website it doesn't list the 3g as being compatible but I believe that is because the 3gs was the first model to support voice dialing.

Is it the camaro that has the voice recognition or is it certain phones? I know my phone does not have it and my camaro is coming in sometime this late spring.

If you have the Iphone 3gs paired per bluetooth all you have to do is hit the dial button on the steering wheel and when the female voice comes on say "bluetooth". Then the voice will say bluetooth and then you give the command "voice". At that time after the computer voice says something( i can't remember what) your iphone will go into that voice command mode. Then just say the name you want to dial from your iphone memory. All of this is working through the car to activate the voice command mode on the iphone. I read the car manual after I started to put phone numbers in the cars memory which I found out isn't needed. I hope this helps.

I believe "Virtual Advisor" also uses part of the free 30 minutes of OnStar calling you get when you first activate.
