Cool of you to offer. Might just take you up on that.

I put a Hurst in my 2010. Ive been thinking of switching to the MGW after i test drove a corvette with one. Will I have any issues going from Hurst to MGW? like, will anything be missing or whatever since I no longer have the stock stuff?

The MGW completely replaces the existing shifter setup. You will be fine.

It's not really that bad at all. Just time consuming. I did mine by myself and it took me around 4 hours, but I wasn't in any hurry with it. Was being careful, especially on the inside, not to damage anything.

I did mine alone with a jack and a couple jackstands?

The pins weren't even the hardest part for me. Just dropped the back of the tranny down and had enough room to get my big hands up in there. Hardest part for me was that I had a hell of a time getting my stock boot onto the grommet they sent me. The hole left in my factory boot was waaaaaayyyyy bigger than the grommet, and had make many attempts to get the boot to not be lopsided once it was all buttoned up.

Definitely worth every penny and bit of time though, for sure!!

Vid

Here's a vid I took this morning. Shifting is smooth and effortless... how can I not be happy with this?

If you guys have vids of an MGW, please post! I installed the Hurst myself at my shop with a couple of rhino ramps. Proof's in the pudding.

Note - I did not lose control of the vehicle at the end... maybe lost control of the camera lol

Even the stock shifter is spring loaded to center between 3-4. AFAIK, all shifters are. A 3-speed shifter will center between 2-3. To make it intentional to shift to 1st or reverse.
