I did get an additional invoice this morning for the 1500.00 core charge. It's not that big of a deal, you will get it all back as soon as they receive your wheels. I know this may be a deterent for some but think about it, this way there is no down time. You receive your new wheels, do the swap, and ship em right back in the boxes provided. If your wheels are not in real good shape, you best address that first.

Yes, posted please! I was going with 6liter wheels, but the price is about the same, so I'll have to see...I'd like to see the Black Chrome ones though - the link was expired...

Also, I need 20x9's all the way around...

I'll keep things posted Michael. I'm just curious, why did you go from the 10" wheels in the rear to 9's?

Hey guys, I want to clarify something.
I've been in contact with Marcus and his customer service is second to none.
If you'd like to purchase a set of these wheels, hit "Buy it Now" You'll be directed to PayPal where you will pay for the wheels and shipping. Then after Marcus receives your order he will send you an invoice for the core charge. Or you can just give him a call and set up everything over the phone, your choice. I liked the fact that I got a second invoice for two reasons, one, it allowed me flexibility on how I wanted to purchase these wheels and two, the core charge was entirely on a seperate transaction.
I do alot of bizzness on Ebay and this transaction went smoothly and was very professional. I'm 100% positive the product will be the same............Rich

Keep me posted. I contacted US directly a week or so ago, but the core kinda turned me off. If they cut a deal, then I'm in. (assuming they'll do the caps)

Yes...never had 20x10's on. Stock 20x9's all the way around.

I didn't see the black 20" Camaro wheels there. The link was expired. I was more interested in the group buy otherwise I'm going with 6liter's black chrome wheels @$200 each...

THanks,
Michael J.

Sorry, my bad.......

I don't know, nothing against 6liter, he's providing a great service, but I'm not to comfortable shipping my wheels over to Japan. Beside's, it's the only car I have!

He's doing the same exchange, so I don't see an issue. Anyway, looking for the best price...

Is PVD different from the process below (wheelspecialist.com)? Pros/cons?

From wheelspecialist website:

Chroming your O.E. wheels involves a 6 step process:

1) O.E. pre-painted wheel gets stripped down to bare aluminum then polished by hand to fix all the imperfections.

2) The next step will be a nickel plating bath. Nickel bath adds a strong coating that protects against corrosion.

3) Then the Copper plating bath will be done to ensure that the coating provides a deep lustre to the wheel and smoothes out all imperfections.

4) The wheel will now be hand polished to generate a deep lustre, this procedure is called Copper polishing.

5) Bright nickel plating bath. This step prepares the wheel for chrome.

6) Chrome plating bath.
