i installed my predator in summit racings parking lot then drove 120miles home. per the DIC stick mpg's improved and averaged 25.2 on the drive home. part throttle power as well as lower rpm tq feels more potent also.

The mumbo jumbo of dyno charts (in my opinion) is highly over hyped. Look at the best quarter mile section of this forum for the BEST PERFORMING camaros as measured at the strip.... not butt or mustang or dynojet dynos. Regardless of the number of perceived HP gains the real world results show that 7 (SEVEN) OUT OF THE TOP 10 (10) BEST PERFORMING camaros are L/99s that according to GM have 25 less HP at the crank than do the LS3s. Basically the same mods done to all the camaros but the L/99s with horsepower robbing automatics are setting the best performances in 7 out of the top ten performances. Numbers on paper or dyno graph can be misleading. 60' times... 330'...1/8 mile...1000'... and 1/4 mile et and trap speed is the real measure of HP and torque gains throughout the powerband. Get them FIRST, do you mods and make some more passes. You'll then know the real deal.

As soon as I installed my Predator in my Camaro (M6) I noticed much more immediate throttle response and more torque in 1st and 2nd gear. My only other mod is the K&N Aircharger CAI. Can't wait to find out my hp/tq numbers

while I agree with some of this statement, the reason Autos show better at the dragstrip is often driver mod.
Also, 60', 330', 1/8th and 1/4 mile ETs are a function of traction, MPH in the 1/4 is the best way to gauge power output. A 250 rwhp Fox Body Mustang may go 13.0@100 with good traction, and a 450 rwhp Chally may run the same 13.0 but at @110...lack of traction makes for a slow ET, but you can see from the trap speed it is making more power.

I don't think your theory quite holds water Mike. GENERALLY speaking the M6's with their launch systems have quicker 60' times. The A6's with factory stall converters are at a disadvantage. For the second half of the track big horsepower and torque dominates for highest trap speeds. Again the Ls3's modded the same SHOULD have the upper hand seeing as they started out with 25 more fwhp from the factory. Even leaving the line easing the clutch with little to no wheelspin, the ls3's SHOULD have a higher trap speed than the l/99. In conclusion, comparing the stockers against the modders you'll see the ls3's lead the pack when left stock BUT the lower powered l/99's benefit more from the addition of tunes and add ons when they both are modded.

Installed today. Extremely happy. Great response, especially 1-3rd.
