Yeah I shift at around 6500 bc the cam makes power from around 2500-6500 and even at 7000 rpm's it is making 430 so when I cross the line i'm still around 6400 bc of the 20's and the stock 3.45 gears! Before I had the cam done I was shifting at 5500 but due to it spining I was going to 4th but at around 4900-5100 so it wasn't reach peak power but if I stayed in 3rd it would over rev! The key to lower et's is gearing and suspension, bc you could still get out of the gate pretty good on stock tires if your suspension holds! Before my best 60 ft was 1.97 bc it didn't have anywhere near the torque it has now!! I only able to drive the car for about 3 days before going to the track, I was only home on midtour so with some practice I'm sure I can get some better times and trap speeds, especially once it cools down!! Good luck on your build and have fun with it while you can, being deployed sux!!

You know, it didn't really click about the 60' times with more HP until digging into these threads...especially the folks with 4.10's...
By the time I get back, the blower, cam and ported heads will be on...lets hope the LS9 dual clutch and Pfadt Stage 3 (and 315 NITTOs) help me put that to the ground!

I think you will be ok just make sure you get the NT05R's, and with the stage 3 package, it should def hold!! The dual clutch set up will be key, the stock clutch is very delicate and glazes very easily depending on how you let out of it sometimes!! Cant wait to swap it out, only the wife will make me wait till after we all the stuff done in the rear like gears, axles, tires and suspension!! She's a gear head too, that's why I married her!! She knows more than some of the guys at the track do!! She was actually the one who took my car to Lethal Performance while I was deployed to get the cam and stuff installed! Anyways good luck man!! Take care and be safe, I know I can't wait to leave Iraq soon!!
