I think the real reason why the measured differently is they had the Type-S which was rated I think at 284hp. Different motor but not very much higher then the 270hp rating. They had to make the new base model TL to be weaker then the Type-S to make the Type-S to sound like it had a lot more power then just 14hp for thousands more. |

I don't think it's just a matter of how much more HP, it's probably as much a matter of when that HP is available....the big difference is about 650 pounds....
