30k + 25k is 55k...Corvette's MSRP for 49...close enough.

For nothing but the basic mass produced Camaros then Vette is the ceiling, as least hp wise.

Its all about GM Marketing and the car's status. Back in 1969, a Ram Air IV Firebird was rated at 366 HP, While the Ram Air IV GTO was rated 370 HP same motors different ratings that's all. You can't make Chevy's Flagship Corvette rated the same or lower HP than the Camaro at least on paper you can't.

The LS3 C6 Z51 package is tuned to 436 BHP.

FYI, there are two SAE procedures governing the HP testing. One requires an SAE certified inspector to be present. There is a list of who is approved to witness the testing.

I put a much more aggressive cam, kooks LT headers, Heads, injectors, intake, manifold, corsa sport, H-performance clutch, and a Dyno tune and added a bit over 100 hp to the car. Once I get some cash and get the camaro, I will get forced induction, And once [purchase] and I go past the 3 year 36 on the maro It will get the same treatment.
