My Elite can would not fit. The radiator shroud was hitting the can. I needed about 3/4" knocked off the mounting rod in order to clear.

It's not required (although it should be!). It works with your PCV system to remove the waste vapors from the air stream before they get sent back into your intake. There are a couple of good ones from vendors on this site. Do a search and you will find some good info.

Thats what vengeance did when they installed the Vararam! Cut some off! It fits perfectly! I told them if they had to, to reroute it to the other side! They did a good job!

Catches oil before it goes into the intake! A really good investment, since my catch can fills up about every 3 weeks or so!

Yes it is. If he only had those mods (intake, exhaust, tune) it would be the fastest I know of with just those mods (20'' wheels etc). So far, all the cars that have run 11s (bolt ons only) were running either 17 or 18'' wheels, drag tires, gears, etc.

He should post up his time slip and a detailed list of all his mods and I'll add him to the "official" 1/4 mile list.

No, it's not the filter. I know the no tune can be made a tune model and vice versa I believe. Call Vararam directly. They will answer your question. They are great to work with.

I believe the Tune version has no MAF screen and the MAF tube is a circle, versus the no-tune which is more of an oval and has a screen.
