Some are going way off course here... a refresh won't be more than a front bumper for sure and a rear bumper (but unlikely) and maybe (a big maybe) a new hood design and possibly a new engine offering. That's about all we can expect, why? Because anything else would be too costly this close to the 6th Gen release. There is no way any of these renderings of drastic changes would ever be a refresh...

Good news is, Corvette and Camaro have always seemed to escape the Chevy family-grille design "requirement", whatever it was. |

2017 is pushing it waaaay too far. I'd say 2015 SORP as a 2016 model.

...and before the carping starts (or am I too late?!) about GM being "late to the game" with the Gen-6 Camaro vs. the totally re-engineered MY '15 Mustang, keep in mind the Mustang has run, with one mid-cycle redo ( and some very minor tweaking here 'n there) for soon-to-be TEN MODEL YEARS (2005 thru 2014). Their MC change was for MY '10, so they ran in 5-year cycles TWICE. THAT fact, folks, explains how Ford could blow their brains out, expense-wise, building the unique (and short-term) BOSS and 662 hp GT 500 engines.
Camaro is running in a 4-year and a 2-year (Model Year, that is) cycle which, based on recent events by most everyone in the current car biz, is pretty damn often! And, as Scott has said on many occasions, "We're not done yet"...as y'all will see on the 27th... I can't wait! |

Nope, I think they hit a home run with the 5th Gen, it's exactly what I wanted to see in the Camaro. Enough 69 look but still customizable to be unique for each owner..

I'll tell you what the 6th Gen needs inside...
Air Conditioned Seats, keyless entry(not just remote push button unlock) and push button start, Full color HUD and DIC, Lumbar support, lane departure warning, cross traffic warning, front end collision detection, adaptive cruise control, HD radio (drop Siruis). Just off the top of my head.
