Might be a silly question, but has anyone thought of tilting the rad for more clearance?

For the VR?

Thats actually what were recomended to do by VR for the intake, the pads on the scoop tilt the radiator back about a cm or so...think its about a cm.
Which reminds me, I need new spacers

Tilting the radiator a bit is basically required to make it fit just right on the stock setup.

If someone really wanted to create a bit more room, a little more could be had by very slighly shaving of the horn of the intake at an angle...but not too much!

Also if the intake was still sitting on the radiator, you can clearly see where it rests on the radiator if you look at the rub marks on the head pad underneath. I'd guess one could shave down either the intake or radiator at these points where they are rubbing together. But with rasing the manifold up, I don't think the VR should be resting on the radiator much if at all anymore so not sure if this could be a solution for more room.
