bahahahaah. Nice synopsis Tom.

Yeah Andy, Don always has to be a little faster than all of us. He always has been...He was fastest with near stock mods, then first to SC. Then as we were catching up he then turned it up. Then as we were catching up again then he cammed it. Then as we were catching up he got new Drag radials and gears. When we catch up again god knows what he will have to do. Soon His car will be so fast that no one will even see it...To infinity and beyond!

Its so nice to have him back cause he always stirs things up and makes everyone smile....or shake their heads...or both...

I'm taking the Camaro into Len Lyall today to get the gauges fixed. Those gys are going to freak out that I still haven't washed my car after our little trip.

Speaking of Time slips...

Hmm..with these stats:

418 Stroker, 732.6RWHP 738.1 lbs TORQUE

That should put your car DEEP into the 10's, even at Bandi. Have you taken this thing out yet, officially? What gives? My old 700 hp clunker Cuda ran 10.30's here with only 700 flywheel hp, so I would expect a serious number out of this car.
You should be getting an invitation NOT to return to Bandi from the tech guys the first time out.

donno looks to me that most 2010+ Camaro's running into the mid 10's at lower alts are running~800rwhp with built rear ends, major suspension mods, drag slicks, etc. I'd say 700 HP alone is not enough to get these cars into the 10's. could be wrong... like my damned snow tires thank you very much Brian!

Studded snows could be the answer...or go the Auto route (Yucch!!) Not sure how much hp the slushboxes in the Gen5's can handle...but that level of hp would require a nasty torque converter, something well north of 3500 RPM stall or I guess the ECM could be programmed to lock the converter at that rpm?? I have no idea what's available on that front...more a question for Mike or Clint.
I would never consider swapping my car for an L99 in any way shape or form, so I'm not up on that subject....sorry, but just sayin. All this automatic transmission talk is making me feel weird. I better take a shower. lol
