Yo spike.

Seen this yet? Has potential, but I think that tight-s bend he's talking about needs to go away. And maybe some different resonators.
I can't listen until I get home, so far I have listened to all of the exhaust mods I can find and none of them has done anything for me, unless you count going yuck!

I would like a little more "power" sound but well short of the fake sound so well known on the Honda's and such. Between drone and/or what I call fart car sound, all of them have fallen short of the mark, looking forward to hearing this one.

Is it possible that unless you get a real V8 that sound just can't be had? I have the V6 on order and no complaints from the test drive, but I think just a little more sound might be just right.

I don't think it is the case that anyone has forgotten the feelings at that age, but I suspect if like me, it is because of lessons learned the hard way and trying to help someone not have to do that.

There is no way you will be able to resist momonets of irresponibility with a powerful car at your age (or any age for that matter), if there was then your youth is really being wasted. The trick is keeping the odds in your favor and choosing the moments and not letting them choose

Unfortunately, a V6 is never going to sound like a V8... just won't happen.

However, there are a number of exhaust setups I've heard so far that I liked. I like scrming's setup, for example, and I like that flowmaster setup.

I like the way flowmaster's sound, but their flow testing leaves something to be desired. However, hopefully their race mufflers (as used in that video) would focus more on flow. And being single-chamber instead of three chamber, its a good possibility that they'll flow as much as I need (about 400 cfm per side, out of ~525 possible for a 2.5 inch straight pipe).
