It would be nice if the seats wernt loaded with all those irritating sensors. What a supreme waste of money gm. Why the hell does the airbag need to be activated via someone sitting in the seat? Over complication

This is Hilarious, My wife is 5'9' so I have no issue with her complaining about the dash, let her play with the stick it'll keep her busy.

The predicament is that the GF being 5'3", pretty much is staring at the dashboard when in the passenger seat. As far as I know there is no height adjustment on the passenger side, so I'm thinking of picking up a seat cushion.

Before I go to an auto parts store, can anyone recommend a good seat cushion?

Oh, and getting a taller GF is out of the question...

Thanks.
Ask her if she'll get tired of looking at the tail lights as you drive away leaving her at home.

Get two girlfriends and they can switch off sitting on each others laps.

That way it won't have to deploy. I'm pretty sure sensors cost less than airbags...

atleast that's the only reasoning I can give it.

Insurance companies don't like to pay to replace them if no one was there.

The can't do that because if a rear-facing child seat is put in the front seat the airbag needs to be off. It's not GM, it's the law.

Um...i'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to put any child seat in the front, rear or forward facing. Also, wouldn't the weight of the seat and baby cause the airbags to be turned on?
