I have the same issue on the drivers side. Has anyone taken it back to the dealer to fix? Will they do anything?

Mine is backward. Pasanger is easy, drivers side is hard-ish. I find if you threaten the seat with a beating from Chuck Norris it makes it easier.

I have some maintenance to get done before the winter snow starts and I put her away. I am planning on going to the dealer later this week. I will report what they find and or fix. A TSB # or something would be great because I know mine does not do it all the time. I find, on the drivers side, mine is much harder to pull after I've been sitting in it and driving. It seems when I use the latch before I get in it works ok but not after driving for awhile???

TSB Number: PI-0291NHTSA Number: 10037315TSB Date: November 1, 2010Date Added to File: May 18, 2011Failing Component:
Latches/Locks/LinkagesSummary:
GM: the driver or passenger seat back latch may be difficult to operate due to improper lubrication.

My drivers side seat was very hard to operate until if finally ceased working altogether. The dealership said it needed lubrication, so they lubed both seat latches and they both work "alright." Not great, but they do work. They are still somewhat hard to open and it takes 2 or 3 pulls before either one opens. Kind of annoying!

My driver's side latch was difficult to open from day one, and it got worse for the first 3 months/1,200 miles. Then it got better - so much that I had made an appointment to get it fixed, but now do not need to.

I have two kids and it was become a pain in the butt trying to get the seats to fold forward. I had the car in for its first service and had the dealer look at bunch of things. They only fixed one, the seat latches. They lubed them and they both work great now!

I've found that it you set your seat back nice and easy, that they work just fine. But if I throw them back then there Really stiff.

I just wanted to update....the dealer did lube all hardware in the seat mechinisms per the bullitin and they both work great now. Finally my 6 year old can let himself out of the back seat without me un-latching it for him.
