1/4 is boring. I wish there was a track around that let you run for a full mile. What's the point of being able to do 170+ in my car if I can't ever hit it? I'd like a little longer than 13-ish seconds with my foot on the gas.

Like these guys........ Just because you tell yourself you're a great driver doesn't make it true.

That wreck could have happened at the track just as easy! I don't agree with or do I advocate street racing, I just think there are ALOT of people on here who are full of chit when they say they don't. The hollier than thou attitude of some is hilarious.

My 2 cents... Let's not confuse SPEEDING with RACING.... MmmmKay? 2 Corvettes, obviously racing. Dropping the hammer and running up to 135.... Speeding.

Correction 13 second 1/4 miles are boring.

Get a 140 trap street car and then report back.

Agreed, in the first case you get the result from the above video, in the second case running up to 135mph you get this........

Street racing would not happen as often if there were more tracks in certain areas. The closest one to me is 2+ hours away.

Existing ones even get shut down because people move next to the place knowing there will be cars racing, then they bitch about the noise.

Until you hit and kill someone and then realize that the reason cops pull us over and cite us is because we are doing something dangerous. The consequence of a speeding ticket is way way less than the consequence of taking a life while speeding.

You must be one hell of a driver.
That car puts out 470 hp and his is probably a factory freak. They usually run about 12.4s
