Also, a note on internet courtesy:

Now, I understand the whole Ohio thing. Heck, I'm from the People's Republic of California myself.

The thing people need to understand is that the vast majority of communication is not what we say. So when you post something on the internet, they can't know your mood, tone, body language, etc. So it is very easy to misconstrue what somebody else posts on the internet. Both sides are responsible for keeping everyone friends here. If you post something, think about all the ways it could be taken, and if it could sound offensive or degrading to your reputation and integrity, reconsider it, even if you meant well. And if you read something you find questionable or objectionable, be willing to be open minded and allow for the possibility that it was meant in a way that you didn't take it.

Peace all.

I'd like to see ANY carmaker (even Toyota) try to make a useful Truck with 150hp cap to work with....even some cars have trouble with it....

Wow, I had no idea I would stir up such controversy...... cool

First, I'd just like to point out my frustration was aimed at the actual LAW of the front plate code (Ohio Revised Code 4503.21 - Display of license plates and validation stickers or temporary license placard or windshield sticker), and the fact that Ohio is rather sociallist is some aspects because they have many more backwards laws, the most inispid is that gambling and casinos are illegal.

I in no way meant any disrespect to police. In fact, the very policeman who would ticket me for such a violation I would not hold anything against him because he did not make the rules. He is only enforcing what is on the books.

And to my fellow Clevelander, 69copo, I still love Cleveland and I'm still proud to say I was born and raised here. As such I still have the right to criticize my government. You have to admit, Ohio is shrinking in population daily because their government officials pass taxes and laws that prevent growth and forward progress. I have a very good job, I plan on staying here the rest of my life, but there are many, many States in the Union that don't have their hand in the cookie jar near as much as Ohio does. Nor do they have the puritanical preacher telling you you can't gamble or get within 6 feet of a stripper at a strip club (yep folks, those are real Ohio state laws). Sorry you take offense, but having lived here since the day I was born over 30 years ago I think my opinions hold merit.

Now, where were we?...... Ah, yes, that front license plate.

That's OK Fastball. I didn't mean to stir up so much trouble. I just read it the wrong way that's all. I agree that Cleveland is a city on the edge of disaster a recent report from a major cross country mover reported that 57% of it's Ohio business was out bound. Our leaders are corrupt and the economy is dying. That being said I still believe in the hard job and thankless job that our police force does. I do agree that some of our laws are foolish, including the front plate one. So once again Fastball I apologize for comming off to strong. I will NEVER put a plate on my throughbred...not GM but still a stunner look-
