I understand the frustration here.... ten minutes ago a friend walks in and tells me I better move the car there is a guy weed-wacking down close to it. I run down and sure enough there is some idiot standing there running his Stilh full blast walking up to it. I thought about just pulling forward and making a speed bump out of him but I let it go and drove it to the other end of the lot. No !@#* grass there!

Teaching my son early. If you ask him he will tell you, "hands in your pocket, do not touch the paint".

People are right when they say "it's just a car", but it's a car I worked and paid for. Not a car that some dip stick can just handle like it's theirs or as they feel free to. Haven't picked up my car yet but I can sure see a lot yelling in my near future.

I have a California Duster and I find it leaves wax streaks all over the car. It is supposed to work better the dirtier it gets, but am I doing something wrong?

I came out to find some kid had actually WALKED UP the front of my '99. The little bastard took his first step on the drivers side headlight then strolled up the hood to the windshield. There were footprints in the dust that just infuriated me.

Spent the next few hours washing and buffing the scratches out.

But yeah, most people have no respect for others these days. Sorry to read about your misfortune. Hopefully there wasn't any noticeable damage.

Very well said about the security cameras.
AND,....if I ever found someone writing this, or doing anything else to my car or truck, IT WOULD BE ON!!!

If you don't have damage you are very lucky. Years ago I had someone do the very same thing to me and it scratched the paint. I could not rub it out. Even when it was clean and waxed if you got in the light just right you could see Wash Me!!!

People are so angry, a little perspective. I don't have the Camaro yet but I love my buick. I used to drive it everyday. When I got it out of storage last year the guy who brought it to me broke my Hood ornament because for some reason he thought it looked like a good handle to close the hood. You may not know how hard it is to find a 1954 Buick Hood ornament but you have a better chance of finding the golden Camaro that lets you tour Fbodfather's house. Was I angry, yes. Would beating the guy who broke the Hood ornament make me feel better? Mabe, but that would not solve my problem nor would going into a psychotic rage. I was not injured, sick nor was my family. I was inconvenienced and annoyed. I calmly took his information called the company and settled the matter. Going into a rage over fingerprints is way out of proportion. Reminds me of the 90's when people shot people over 8 ball jackets and getting cut off in traffic. Its a car. We love it. But its a car. On the list of really important things its not really that high react accordingly.
