farrari 458.

bugatti vyron costs to much to run (and buy!) people say its cheaper to take their jet and ship the car than drive the car. LIke 48k every quarter to keep the car going.

Ford GT, Z06 ,ZR1,GTR,GT3 In no specific order. To me those are the ultimates. Something you could drive without feeling like a racecar. I think the latest 4 seater 2dr 400 hp plus from the big three gotta be up there too. Just my opinion.

My fave is still a Ferarri 575.

If we're talking about $75,000 or less, I vote for the Lotus Evora. When I get the money, that's what I'll be driving on the weekends. Along with a Camaro during the week, of course.

I would go for zr1 or z06... great track performance up in the leagues of the great million dollar supercars. its not too harsh for a daily driver. Relatively cheap. Easy to maintain.

Cayman S is a fun car, not elite by any stretch of the imagination. Fun to drive, but not worth $65k.

GT-R is an over priced bucket of problems. Wanted one until.........$10K for a break job, seriously? It's a Nissan!!!

Lotus Elise uses a Toyota engine (Celica GTS) with a minor tweek but they still fail, imagine that. Plus, if you've ever tried to get into one, you would think the back seat of the Camaro was a breeze to get to.

BMW and Mercedez Benz are way over priced and mechanical nightmares. Never again!

Audi R8 is one I've got my eye on. Haven't had the pleasure of ripping through those gears yet. They have a pesky problem of catching fire though.

911 Turbo is amazing, doesn't fit the true sports car criteria of 2 seater though.

Since the 911 Turbo is out, I have to go with the Carrera GT or GT3 as my ultimate sports car. Both of those top the $100k mark so they are by no means considered affordable.

If we are going no limit on the pricing, Aston Martin Vanquish S / DBS 12 / One -77, Maserati MC12 / Ferrari Enzo / 599XX or a Bugatti Veyron.

I'm perfectly happy with my Camaro. I could have gotten something much more expensive, but why?
Compare the Camaro SS to a BMW M3 / Audi S5. All are V-8s, all top 400 hp, all have nice interiors (BMW / Audi beats the Camaro due to leather dash and brushed aluminum IMO, add the wood to the M3 and it's the Camaro FTW!) but what seals the deal is where the Camaro hits the pocket book. Why pay $60k for something you can get for $35k and get better looks for less?

Now add in dual power seats, memory seats / mirrors, better lumbar support, and more effort put into the dash, and the Camaro is hands down the champ under $70k. Even over her big sister the Corvette. Fit and Finish on the newer Corvettes are lacking.
