Steve, I think I am going to stay away form Shorties. After seeing these results and comments from Jannetty in the other thread, I dont think they are worth the money.
Definitely going to do a CAI though. |

If you look at the other 10+ threads on this subject there is a TON of conflicting information which makes it tough for guys like me to make educated decisions. |

Axis - I understand your point of view about the manufacturer making the claim but on the DT site they show a dyno where their shorties are doing 20HP. Perhaps I will make a call to DT and speak with them directly. (and ask why they did not offer to take part in the shorties shoot out)

PS - I don't think you as an ass. I don't know you personally and would understand you believe wholly in what you are talking about, and more than that, as this is new to me you may very well know much more about it than I. I am just trying to feel my way through this.

Did the person that told you that shorties are showing good gains have any proof? Did they have them themselves and had REAL data to back up their claims? There are a LOT OF PEOPLE on here and everyone has an opinion. The challenge is sifting through all the BS and coming out with what the real deal is. I'd suggest you read around and find a group of people that KNOW what their talking about. There are always those few people on every board. Ted with Jannetty racing is a GREAT place to start. He's shown to give his unbiased opinion on just about everything, whether he sells their products or not. I tend to take his opinion a little more seriously than most others. There are a few people that I listen to more than others but you'll need to find those others for yourself.

Hey Steve if you do call DT and ask them about there shorties and why they didn't compete in the shoot out I'm sure a lot of the guys on here would be interested to hear about it. Let us know if you contact them and what they say.

Steve I want to do the DT shorties and CAI too, the DT's are in the mail. I think I am going to return them though because there is not enough evidence to justify the cost. Let me know if you find out otherwise in the next couple days.
