I don't know if the new Stang's quality is in the same category as the M3 as you have claimed, but one thing it definitely doesn't share with the M3 and the new Camaro is styling.

The Camaro and the M3 have it, the new Stang does not.

The new Stang basically looks like every other 05+ Stang.

And while I didn't buy my car to attract attention, not a day goes by that someone doesn't stop me or give me a thumbs up.

The best way I can discribe it is in an auto is:

Take a breath and let it out, you're now at 35
Take another, and before you let it out, you're at 60

another two breaths and you're passing 80

Its that fast, and you really dont know how fast you are going by the feel of the car or the sound of the engine, you actually have to go by the tach and speedo.
So true. My good friend bought a 5.0L manual w/ 3.55 and I felt the same way. Every gear rev's just as quick as the one before and you dont realize your going 90mph in that short of distance without all the drama of an older pony car that runs 12.8's

When we raced I fumbled a little on my 1-2 shift and he got a car length on me and I couldnt catch up until 100+mph. We were almost neck and neck through my 2nd and 3rd gear but when I grabed 4th was when I started reeling him in.

Its a nice car for sure but I like the way my GT500 feels even if they had the same whp. If you guys think the 5.0L is nice on the inside you should get behind the wheel of a 2010 GT500. It really feels like a different car. His 5.0L felt "mushy" in alot of placed like the suspension, tires, shifter, throttle vs my car.

About the 5.0's gas mileage, the salesman told me that 5th and 6th gears are overdrives in the manuals. I'm not sure on the autos though.

That is incorrect. The M6 has only one OD gear - 6th, which is .65. 5th gear is 1:1. The salesman doesn't know what he/she is talking about (all too common, I'm afraid).

The A6 does indeed have two OD gears, and there is no 1:1 gear.

Thanks for taking the time to post up that review. Right now I am in the market for a new car and honest feedback from others who have actually driven all three of the ponycars. I put almost as much faith in magazine car reviews as I do in magazine movie reviews; that is, very little. Honestly, I was leaning heavily toward the Challenger, but the new Camaro is growing on me. I'm hoping the weather will hold out this weekend so I can take one for a test drive.

Very Nice Write up Man!! To be honest I own the 5.0, and I love love it!! But I think the Challenger stayed true to its styling roots more than the Camaro or Mustang, except of the interior! Oh and you talk about busy gauges lol just drive the Mustang at night, it get's even busier with the color changed gauges and ambient lighting sheeww took my eyes awhile to adjust lol! Great Write up!

Very Nice Write-Up

if ur rank is about perfomance, then it should be like:

1. Mustang, Camaro equal.
2. Challenger R/T
or
1. , Camaro, Mustang, Challenger Srt-8. Equal.
or
1. Camaro stick
2. Mustang stick
3. Challenger stick.

If its about driving DD
1. Camaro
2. Challenger
3. Mustang

If its about exterior

1.Camaro

2.Challenger

9.Mustang

I cant understand, even if mustang is better in perfomance with auto, why to place challenger after it, when u own it and chose it to buy... Its more comfortable, the WAY better looking, then mustang... Only cos of perfomance? Thats strange.

Anyway, thanks for an opinion!
LOL Agreed.

No doubt the Camaro looks cooler. I've loved the look of the Camaro ever since I saw the concept and Bumblebee in Transformers 1. However the 2010 and 2011 GT's do look different than the 05 stangs up to the 09's. I think the fronts look better in the new ones, more aggressive looking but not as aggressive as the GT500. However for about $1.500 you can make any Mustang look like a GT500.

The Camaro is the more distinctive looking of the Camaro/Mustang pairing.

However, the build quality and performance of the 2011 GT is just as good, IMO, as the M3, and 25,000 less!

The CS front end looks great. I dont think you should put a GT500 front end on unless you have a GT500

If I were to put any front end to my 5.0, it would be the GT500KR 2008 hood. The new GT500 hoods are not as nice in my opinion. Obviously I wouldn't change the 5.0 badge on the side for a snake. It is funny how none of the dealers in Miami have the one color combo I want for the Mustang. Kona Blue with saddle interior. It looks very nice. This below is what I am looking for, minus the glass roof, don't need that.
