If I'm still not happy with it after they do it then I'll demand the car be repainted entirely, but I know Smith does excellent work in their body shop so I'm thinking if they handle it, it'll be great.
As someone else already pointed out, you have a metallic finish and if you go panel by panel, it will never match. Anything less than a full repaint of the vehicle is a waste of time.

Totally agree, it needs to be done at the same time, don't let them talk you out of it.

As a person who has worked in a body shop you are correct in part of your statement as far as metallic paint goes:
But you can get it to match with metallic, they will have to blend the next nearest panel, meaning the "doors" will have to be partially painted or blended as it is called in the paint world, then of course clear coated complete door panel. The eye will never be able to see a good blend into the next panel!
Find a good painter and have them repaint the whole front , including fenders and add a blend in the doors!

+1 to that!!
When my new Camaro comes in, I'll reject it immediately if it doesn't pass a rigid inside and outside inspection and pass a test drive. I had my salesman sign off that my $500 deposit would be refundable if there is any damage of any kind. Remember this kids, damage of any kind from the factory or during transport CANNOT be fixed/restored to it's original state by the dealer or by any other outside source, period!!

Let me just make it perfectly clear that I love my car and am proud to own it and thankful every day. It is a dream come true for me to have her and I am blessed to have a dealer that wants to help me and a company that is standing behind their work and willing to make me happy about something purely aesthetic which no one has noticed yet but me. This is not a Ferrari. It is a car with minor issues and I am lucky to own such a nice vehicle. Damaged or no she is mine and beautiful and drives like a dream. So please, guys, instead of telling me how dumb it was to buy her, offer me ideas on how to correct a paint issue. Thank you!

I would keep GM in the loop and have the whole car painted by "Smith". Tell Gm it has been in the shop more than in your driveway and you are very disappointing. With all the paint issues these cars have I would do the whole thing. And now your dealer wants to do just the hood is BS, do it all or let Gm make them do it all.

I don't have any advice to offer as it seems like most everything has been pretty much thought of that I would have said, as well as a few things I wouldn't have. Anyhow I just wanted to say that I get how frustrated you must feel, I love my car as well, and this sort of thing just wears on you, so instead of some advice I will simply have a good thought for you and your car hoping that things work out far beyond your expectations.

Remember to breathe everything will work out.
