For anyone that might be interested in this item. This is basically for the ones who put a cover on their car. These are white heavy fabric covers almost like burlap & have a heavy wire that runs thru them 3/4 of the way. You put them over the tire and stops the tires from getting your cover all black. These can be found at any motor home or camping trailer sales also Harbor freight. I bought mine at harbor freight much cheaper. A lot of campers cover their tires with them in the winter. Sorry 4 the long boring post.

In my opinion, most who go through this yearly routine are just keeping the car nice for the next owner. This year will be the fourth winter in SE Michigan for my 2011 CGM 2SS/RS. I am just days from rolling past 100K on the odometer. There is nothing wrong wth mine at all. The undercarriage is very clean, overall the car looks very good. I take good care of it all year, handwashing it weekly (even in the winter). I also have a 16 year old truck with over 300K on the odometer that people say is "cherry". I just don't buy cars that I'm not going to drive year round. For those that have not experienced a 5th Gen on Blizzaks in the winter, they are awesome!
