So I didn't Gtech road dyno my car, but I did do a simulated 1/4 with it. It came up to 13.6 @106.5 mph. Sound's good right? After that, I ran a simulated 1/4 with the Gtech again, and ran 13.55 @ 107. I want to kick the stupid Gtech. The second time I used it was at the track, where the timeslip said that I ran a 14.0 . The Gtech is very very inaccurate!!!

Anyways, that being said, I did go to the track yesterday, and my best time was a 14.060 @ 102.14mph. I don't think that flashing the converter is working for me... maybe cause I'm doing it wrong? But I think the secxond fuse pull did help immensely, since I didn't do anything that much different this time around.

What I noticed though, was that even in Sport Mode, my car shifts out of 1st before 5000RPM Is this normal?

Attached are the slips...

Yeah, you just need to work on your launch. Once you get your launch figured out you'll be down in the mid 13s.

And your G-Tech will work fine for comparing mods, etc to see if you're making improvements. And you now know your G-Tech reads faster than what you run at the track.

Most the forums I frequent don't even want to hear about G-Tech, stop watch, or whatever times that weren't done at track. I have an older G-Tech that's pretty accurate, but I wouldn't make any 1/4 mile claims off of it.
I've had friends brag about running 4.3 - 4.5 sec 0-60mph and high 12 sec 1/4 mile times using these type timing methods and then only run mid 13s at the track. But usually they are "fairly" accurate. But in racing a few tenth off makes a big difference.

That's why you really need to go the track if you want accurate times.

I will second that

Your on your way...it's all about seat time
Keep working with it ! Once you get the launch down work with the shifting at different rpm's.

Ya, Im on board with these guys. Much better. You must be spinning the tires a lot though? Times still seem a bit slow for an automatic. But it seems like maybe you're a bit nervous at the track. I'm impressed that you're out there. Great job.
