I used fabric markers I got at Joanne fabric. Did it about 6 months ago, and everywhere except the shifter knob looks the same as it did on day one. Since my hand is on the shifter so much, I expected some fading - but it will take about 3 minutes to fix. No big deal...

go to hobby lobby and get a fabric dye pen, do about 2 inces and then wipe with a light soapy damp washcloth. I had mine for over a yrs and no issues.

I did my cloth seats & they came out great, but since my car is a daily driver, the color wears off on the drivers seat...I'm redone just that seat twice since originally doing this aout a year & a half ago

I spent $6 for 3 fine tip fabric dye pens at Hobby Lobby

I used one for the back seat & shifter boot, & one for each front seat...none ran out, but I wanted fresh tips...I did my best to stay on the stitching & keep off the cloth...I would do about 6" then blot with a dry cotton cloth (old sock)...DO NOT RUB, it can smear the dye into the cloth around the stitches...here is a pic of the back seat with half done

and here are pics of the finished product

& here is a close up shot...you can see a little bit of dye on the black, but from more than about a foot away, it's impossible to see

all told, it took me about 2 hours to do it all

Stitching Dye

Gentleman, I have just come across this

While I drive A 2012 Cruze, not a Camaro I spent 3 hours at the dealership looking for red stitching. They ended up doing a dealer search of a 10000 mile radius search of dealerships looking for red stitching. I'll be doing this mod this weekend.

Used the Uchida dye pen red #550S fabric marker - very happy with result (it is all red in pic - sun just hitting it on lower section) get 3 -4 pens - fine tip needed and it gets worn/rounded quickly...
