I put mine away on November 5th. no car cover, no disconnected battery, nothing. She is just sitting there, I do start her up every couple of weeks and move her in and out of the drive way to get christmas decorations out. I heard that if you start it every once in a while, you don't need to disconnect the battery.

We've had Patches parked since Nov1. I start her up once a month and let her run up to temperature then shut her down an reseal the throttle body with plastic and zip tie and plug the exhaust with rags.

Dryer sheets inside. Brand new cover newly waxxed and sealed paint......i miss them both already

Just found a small benefit to storing the Camaro over the winter, great place to hide my wife's Xmas gifts.

I just have a silly question. Just got a battery tender for xmas is it ok to put it on the battery in the car with the trunk closed they always say watch out for gas build up so I was just wondering if I had to worry about hooking up my battery tender in the trunk with no ventilation and the car cover on. This is the first time that I have had a car out away for the winter so I am not sure on the proper steps to take, I have done everything that it has talked about in here, gas treatment, tires etc. just was not sure about the battery, I disconnected the negative terminal and wrapped it in a cloth but now that I have the tender can I hook the negative back up?

Sorry for the long winded question just want to make sure my baby is good to go in the spring.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I asked the same question It is perfectly ok to put the tender under hood/trunk with everything closed and covered
