Uh...

What was the story?

Molson XXX should be renamed "Molson XXX Mind Erasers"

We took these out of the china hutch andwere going to take these as "door prizes" for the 2nd annual meet and pass them on...It was decided that the Holiday Inn bridge should not be burned and neither of us could make bail. Difficult to believe we didn't have to be counseled from the adults and made up our collective minds on our own.

I can't thank everyone enough for this weekend. Where to even start.

Angel...thank you sooo much for buying that Camaro from me in May! If you had never done that this weekend would not have been possible!

Hylton, you are an awesome guy. The work you put into this weekend was so appreciated. Words just can't say enough...So, thanks...just thanks!

Oshawa employees, thank you for making a car that EXCITES people. This was the first time I spent any 'real' time in a Camaro. You just can't believe the looks this car gets until you're inside one cruising down the highway! From a carload of guys in a black Dodge Magnum speeding to catch up to you and wave to you..holding up traffic in construction to let your IOM Camaro in ahead of the pack! Man, that was cool! Then to the kid who is looking at 13 various Camaros heading west on the 401, snapping pics while his Mom tries to speed up to each and every one for him. SMILES everywhere.

Everybody I met this weekend are just awesome people.

Rick, thank you for the jacket you gave me at the party! I was COLD!

Banshee, you are a great guy too...a little naughty, but fun!

Dougie...Mr. Swiss Army knife...What a sweet guy and I LOVED your accent.

Karen...TOO much fun. What else can be said about you, eh?

'Rooster crowing Lady'...I don't remember your name but what a HOOT! Did you win the contest on Saturday? Thanks for the laughs.

Rick with the ambient lighting...way too cool. 'Nuf said.

Lynn and Kelly. WOW. Just WOW. Everyone, stay tuned for some totally awesome pictures that will be posted. Lynn went to great lengths to get just the right shot. Can't wait to see them. You two people are awesome, nice folks. Can't wait to go fishing this Friday! Got my 'Tuk' ready, eh?

Scott, thanks for all your hard work too. It was nice seeing you come outta your shell a little on Friday night. Good people, great times.

Steve and Kari...Loved you BOTH! You are such a cute couple. Nice, polite, funny...miss you already. Take care Kari, I hope ALL THE BEST for you.

Josh, you rock. The guy that drove the farthest. What else is there to say? Die-hard Camaro fan. WOW.

Dustin...Love your car. Liked it just a little less after the MartinRea visit. SORRY, couldn't let that one pass!

Trent...you're a FUNNY guy. Next time, PICK YOUR WIFE UP AT THE DOOR! Are Amy's toes thawed out yet??

OK, I am gonna stop now. I could go on and on, but I suppose this is enough. Suffice it to say that this group of people is the most awesome group I have ever had the pleasure of spending a weekend with. I can't mention everyone by name and I am sorry for that. You all are WONDERFUL and I am already looking forward to next year when I will bring my own Camaro and my husband.

Gonna post some pics now!
Hahaha, oh yes, the rooster... That was great

And I'll have you know... My car is perfectly fine, aside from a small scrape on the sway bar When we went to the dealer, I had them put it up on the lift and check it out. I sure wanted to when that happened, but all is well now... whew!

But it was great to meet you! Can't wait to hang with you all again

To anyone who was not with us in Oshawa but donated...

THANK YOU!

This would NOT be possible without your donations. You all should be proud and happy that you were all well represented and the events went great for a first year run...

This all went better than expected. The addition of the Martinrea plant and the BBQ was a welcomed suprise. I can say I had a great time and had a blast talking to everyone.

Anna....OK blame me for my naughtyness...You are sooooo innocent.
Angel...You did a great job filling in the gaps and smoothing over the bumps.
Trent...You are deadly...a lurker. Anytime anyone had a problem they came to you. That XR is stored away for next year.
Scott.. Typical Canuck. Laid back, friendly, open and a great guy.
Mike Judge.. Words are not enough. You have to meet the guy to undersatnd. The guy will be reincarnated as a Camaro.
Karen and the womens prison stories...made me miss my girlfriend even more...
Josh... Too cool. Can't wait for more trouble...
Heinz...You can be my wingman anytime. I love it when you are leading at 130 the guy behind you is 10 feet off your bumper.

To everyone else who was there...It is so difficult to get to know everyone in a short 30 hours and I look forward to this being longer next year and continuing our conversations. All the people were wonderful..

I wish I could have been there! It's nice to see the faces of Camaro5 members. (I suggest that each Camaro 5 member post a photo of themself on their garage page for reference by other members). Owning a new Camaro is special, but being a member of the Camaro5 family is fantastic.

I didn't see too many front license plates in the photos...

Yeah I couldn't believe it... I went underneath and looked with him, and that was the only visible damage we could find. No more scrapes, leaks, or anything... Only thing that happened was the exhaust pipes pushed the heat shield up a bit, so the drive shaft was hitting it, making a very loud noise when we were driving there, but that was an easy fix. Just bent the shield back down and no more rubbing. Maybe the cones actually saved me?

Either way, that is a memory best forgotten! Haha... :(

However I'd like to say a big "thank you" to them for still checking it out, even though they were closing. I'd like to call the manager tomorrow. Does anyone remember the name of that dealership?

I know you were talking about writing them a letter. Checking your car was a very cool gesture.

Some pics I took

I didn't take many pics because my camera sucks, and I also ran out of batteries... But here are some of the ones that I took. I know there are better ones, with better cameras (and photography skills) and higher resolutions, so I really can't wait to see the good pics!

Mods, feel free to edit or move as necessary. I didn't know where else to put them

Nice Work!

Nice work Camaro 5 members. I can't tell all of you Camaro5 members and Camaro plant workers how much I would like to attend the event. It's just such a long way to Oshawa from the Left Coast. Just maybe if becomes an anuall event I could make it one time.

Maybe we could make a sign in sheet to show our appreciation from the Camaro5 members who can't attend.

And for all you Camaro plant workers who watch this site thank you for a simply awesome car.

Can't wait for Mega Factories.

If you look at the pic you took of the Mayors car, he actually has a licence plate frame, on the back, with the dealers name.

You're right that's the dealer's info.
