Ah...well, isn't it supposed to be that way?

If that was the look they were after then why not save a few bucks and leave the fascia in unfinished plastic? That wouldn't match anything perfectly!

No, no. I meant the bottom lip -- what I assumed you were referring to as "bottom heavy". The lower grille is up for debate....

I was referring to the grille, but I don't really care much for the fat cheeks on the sides either. My primary concern is the grille which simply does not match at all and a second concern is the way the front view looks like a squirrel with a load of nuts in his mouth ready to put them in his nest.

I think we have a lot of people here who'd rather have anything different to show off they got the V8 and don't care it ruins the look of the car. I think if we had a poll that said "GM has decided to make all Camaros identical to save money. We can therefore only make one front end. Which one should we make, the V8 or the V6?" you might get a much better idea what nose is better.

I like 'em both. I think the SS looks more aggressive. I also like the fact that GM is taking steps to visually differentiate the SS from the base/V6 Camaros.

Well done IMO.

If advertising that you've got an SS is more inportant than taste then why not just have them put 24" high "I HAVE A V8!!!!" lettering on each side?

CONCEPT BUMPER (FTW*Googolplex)!!!!!
and thanks to Tom Peters for the awesome original bumper and grille!!!

Hey that's a good idea. I might just do that. But seriously dude, you really need to get a grip. I have no desire to specifically advertise that I have an SS. It's a matter of opinion and I happen to like that they look different. You like one, I like them both. MOVE ON.

Be it striping, badging, rims, scoops, spoilers, etc, post-1970 I'd like for you to find any car from any manufacturer that left their base and performance versions of the same model identical.

You stated your opinion. You are entitled to it as I am to mine. Nobody, myself included, has a problem with the fact that you do not like it.

My problem is that every single chance you get you say something about the SS fascia. We get it.

Lastly, we have not seen the final, approved, production version of the SS. Who know, you might just like it.

No kidding, Captain Awesome- your attitude is getting to be troll-like and you have definitely surpassed the spam point. So do everyone on the forums a favor and start keeping it to yourself. Everyone knows you hate it. Your worse than an eight year old at times.

As long as people are trying to start trouble with me by posting 72 point bold font nonsense then you can expect me to respond by making a mockery of it. If you don't like it that my opinion differs from yours then in your mind that makes me a troll and in my mind that makes you a troll. So we cancel each other out.

If you disagree with me then I'd love to hear some legitimate logical reasoning, not childish goading in huge typeface. If that's a representation of the typical SS bumper fan, then you're just giving it a bad image already. Here's the image this projects: "teh ss bumper is da bomb! it lookz reely rad and tuff! can u c what i says? i no its to cool for u!"

I'm sorry if my mocking disturbed you.
