Saw a SLP ZL1 at the charleston cars and coffee yesterday. It was gorgeous and very well put together, looked oem quality. It had 180 miles on it. 560 hp.
SLP uses ZL1 without the hyphen.

I agree since the ZL1 has come out, they needed to add in a new flavor to keep things interesting. And it seems they are doing just that.
Kukeko, actually SLP is not a partner with GM. They are an independent company and their work is not endorsed by GM. Further, Chevrolet dealerships are independent companies and a few may retail and service SLPs, however those mods are not endorsed or covered by GM.

Damn I love that engine cover. But 295/35/20 on 10" width rims REAR don't they need more contact patch for such power?

OK. So while this is an awesome camaro. I just have one tiny thing I want to point out. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this.

I wonder if its one of those INSIDE JOKES these aftermarket guys do....
like "Lets put on a thunder cats logo and see what happens"...or in pontiacs case..."Lets call it wide track...says its better and then in 20 years reveal .......it isnt"

If you have less the 5k miles you can have this done to your car. SLP will have it picked up. (covered trailer) take it to their shop for a few weeks to have it converted to this beast. It would be awesome to have a c5'er get an early one.

Price would depend on the power level and other options. PM me if you'd like me to introduce you to the SLP rep that I worked with. I'll try my best to make sure he takes good care of you.

Love this thread, but just want to point out I tried to get fbodfather to reveal this earlier (and failed). Don'tcha hate trying to get the scoop and having it fall flat cause you swung too early?

Wow I seriously had this idea when the 5th gen first came out... Calling it the same thing but literally blacking out EVERYTHING & having a different front bumper & rear bumper! Guess I need to apply at GM design....

Oh & SLP doesn't have to worry at all... The ears are off, the teeth is different, along with the neck.
